C008 [Black tablet on north side of east window] Beneath/ are interred the remains of/ Ann Rachel the wife of Thos Lobb CHUTE Esq of this place/ and daughter of Willm WIGGETT Esqr/ and Elizabeth his wife of the City of Norwich/ her virtues will be long remembered here/ and are recorded/ where the affectionate wife the tender mother/ the faithful friend the benevolent neighbour/ and the humane charitable Christian/ will meet with an everlasting reward/ She died May 6th 1790 aged 57/ Here rest also the body of/ Thomas Lobb CHUTE Esq/ who died November/ 12th 1790 aged 69/ beloved and lamented/ as a most amiable husband father and friend/
He who late mourn’d a dear departed shade/
now lies himself intomb’d where she was laid/ scarce six revolving moons had slowly pass’d/
e’er since his dearer self had breathed her last here first in youth his early joys he prov’d/ here last in age repos’d where most he lov’d/
his son attentive to a father’s claim/

C014 [White tablet on south side of east window] On this side of the altar/ lie the remains of Elizabeth/ the wife of Willm WIGGETT Esq/ of the City of Norwich/ the daughter of Edwd DAVY Esq of Mileham/ and the affectionate mother/ of Ann Rachel/ the wife of Thomas Lobb CHUTE Esqr/ she departed this life in June 1759/ age 54/ Here also rests/ the body of/ William WIGGETT Esqr above mentioned/ who/ having with an unblemished name/ pass’d thro’ the Public Offices of that City/ clos’d at last a life of successful industry/ in the 72nd year of his age/ Jan 1st 1768/ It was his desire to be buried at Pickenham/ the residence of his only child/ Ann Rachel CHUTE/ there his affections/ had some years been centr’d/ and thither he directed/ his fortune and his last regards.
[In the BR, William and Elizabeth WIGGETT are both described as of the parish of St George’s in Colegate within the City of Norwich and both are recorded as buried in the chancel at South Pickenham]

C015 [On south wall of altar room] Here lieth interred the body of/ Anthony FISHER Esq/ eldest son of Willm FISHER/ of Wisbech in the Isle of Ely and county of/ Cambridge Esq who married Ann the/ eldest daughter of Sr Thomas WILLIS of/ Fens Ditton in the county of Cambridge/ baronet and had issue of her 4 sons viz/ Anthony John Thomas & William and one/ daughter Ann who departed this/ life the 3rd of June 1679/ In SPC beatae resurrectionis/
 Here also lieth the body of William FYSHER/ gentleman (only brother of ye above said Anthony FYSHER/ Esq) who dyed the 21th May 1683

C016 [On south wall] Near this place/ are deposited the remains of/ the Revd Thomas Vere CHUTE/ late rector of this parish/ and of Moulton St Michaels in this County/ in whom cheerful good humour moderation/ unaffected piety and silently active benevolence/ were eminently conspicuous/ He was sole remaining brother and heir of/ William John CHUTE late of this place/ and of the Vyne in the county of Hants Esq/ and survived him but two years dying lamented/ as he had lived beloved on the 22nd day of January 1827/ aged 55 years/ This monument is erected to his memory as a/ small tribute of affection by his grateful successor/ William Lyde Wiggett CHUTE
