C001 [White plaque on north wall over entrance door] In memory of/ Edmund BURR gentm/ late of this parish/ who died the 30th of December 1829. In the 42nd year of his age/ also of Anne his daughter who died 27th May 1828/ aged 4 years/ and of Mary his wife/ who died 15th April 1863 aged 72 years/ So teach us to number our days that we may apply/ our hearts unto wisdom

C002 [Monument on north wall] In the alley/ adjoining lyeth ye/ body of Edmund BURR/ gentm and his wife & three/ of their children. [One child would be Mary buried 12 Apr 1869 aged 5m] He dyed/ November ye 26th 1720/ aged 56 years/ she dyed June ye 24th 1708/ aged 44 years/ They left Jane, Ann/ Margaret & Matthew/ In hope of meeting at ye joyfull/ resurrection of the just/ This monument was erected/ by Matthew their son
