to express the deeper/ feelings that are sacred to the heart may yet/ serve as a
feeble record of his affection &/ his grief with the memory of her over whose/
early grave he mourns is associated the/ recollection of every quality that
could bless & adorn domestic life/ possessing in a superior degree the graces/
both of mind of person uniting gentleness/ of disposition with dignity of
character/ sensibility of heart with sound judgement/ & cultivated taste she
exalted the softer/ qualities of the mind by an unaffected/ piety which shed a
lustre upon all the duties/ of life & which led her to employ the/ short time

aforesaid Amia died on the 22nd day of February in the year of our
Lord 1630
