The burial register contains a number of notes, one of which is that concerning the burial, on 15th Jan 1872, of a skeleton found in Bixnell Meadows. “Old Jane Parker age 79 says she remembers the sudden disappearance of Ann COMPLIN who lived near this place with the SERGEANT family 70 years ago. She had been to Lynn market with William TOWLER who was never seen afterwards” [Ann Parker herself was buried 22 January 1878 aged 86]
